May Sale ends Tuesday, May 31st at midnight!

Beau Marchais, a collaboration between Adam Lee and the late Philippe Cambie of France, builds off Lee’s work done at Siduri. Beau Marchais is sourced entirely from the Santa Rita Hills. One of the vineyard sources is right next door to the legendary Gary’s Vineyard and is managed by the same family. Stylistically these are Pinot Noirs that walk the line of Californian ripeness with an almost French elegance. As you can expect with their limited sourcing, these are highly allocated wines that are only being supplied to retail wine shops chosen by the winery.

Blending with Bolgheri:

Bolgheri is unique amongst other Tuscan appellations in a number of ways. The most standout of these in the appellation requirements, which do not require any influence from native Italian varietals in stark contrast to other villages that require at least a dollop of Sangiovese.

Brunello’s Best from 2016
 

There are few vintages that were as consistently good as 2016 in Italy. In Tuscany in particular the vintage was marked by textbook conditions, leading it to be crowned “The Vintage of the Century”. Brunello di Montalcino as the apex of Sangiovese and one of Italian wine’s crown jewels delivered this to the nines.
