Domaine Camus-Bruchon & Fils Savigny-les-Beaune Aux Grands Liards Vieilles Vignes, Cote de Beaune 2020 750ml $49 special, 6 bottles in stock
John Gilman 92 points
“The lieu à dit of Grands Liards must be one of the warmer microclimates in Savigny, as this is the highest octane wine in the Camus-Bruchon cellars this year at 13.6 percent, and the same thing was true of Chisa Bize’s version as well in her lineup of 2020s. This wine was raised in the same cask regimen as the Pimentiers in 2020 and has also turned out beautifully, delivering a bouquet of cherries, plums, pomegranate, woodsmoke, pigeon, lovely soil tones, a touch of vanillin oak and a spicy topnote.

Domaine Garon

Domaine Garon Cote Rotie Lancement, Rhone 2020 750ml $189 special, 6 bottles in stock
Jeb Dunnuck 95-97 points
“The 2020 Côte Rôtie Lancement has more black fruits as well as some classic Côte Rôtie floral and mineral notes. This vineyard normally yields a more ethereal, feminine wine, but this is a powerful, dense, stacked barrel sample with plenty of fine grained tannins and a great finish.”

Domaine Garon Cote Rotie Le Combard, Rhone 2020 750ml $99 special, 12 bottles in stock
Jeb Dunnuck 94-96 points
“The 2020 Côte Rôtie Le Combard is also terrific, revealing a powerful yet also pure and precise character.

“Just about pure perfection and the finest wine I’ve tasted from this address, the 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon is mostly Cabernet Sauvignon yet includes smaller amounts of Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot, all from a site just north of Dominus.

Castello di Meleto Vigna Poggiarso, Chianti Classico Gran Selezione  DOCG 2018 750ml $51.90 special, 12 bottles in stock
Wine Advocate 93 points
“Once a Riserva and now moved up to the top appellation designation, the Castello di Meleto 2018 Chianti Classico Gran Selezione Poggiarso sees fruit selected from across a 1.6-hectare vineyard site. Made with 100% Sangiovese and aged in oak for 27 months, the wine offers some tertiary definition with spice and smoke at the back of purple fruits. The oak spice is integrated (50-hectoliter barrels are used), and the wine concludes with elegant minerality.

Domaine Servin Montee de Tonnerre, Chablis Premier Cru 2020 750ml $49 special, 11 bottles arriving today
Wine Advocate 93 points
“Offering up aromas of orange oil, ripe lemon, crisp stone fruit, beeswax and smoke, Servin’s 2020 Chablis 1er Cru Montée de Tonnerre is medium to full-bodied, satiny and enveloping, with racy acids, terrific depth at the core and a long, saline finish. It’s the finest rendition of this cuvée since 2017.”

Domaine Servin Vaucoupin, Chablis Premier Cru 2020 750ml $47.50 special, 12 bottles arriving today
Vinous 92 points “The 2020 Chablis Vaucoupin 1er Cru has a well-defined bouquet, quite floral and focused, a touch of menthol developing with time, though not to the same degree as the Les Forets.
