Sparkling
This is the lowest listed price in the USA today!
Racines Grand Reserve Sparkling Chardonnay, Sta Rita Hills NV (2020-base) 750ml Displayed Price: $49, that’s $46.55 at 5% off and $44.10 at 10% off, 13 bottles in stock now
Matthew Luczy-Wine Advocate 94 points ‘Sourced from Wenzlau, La Rinconada, Sanford & Benedict and Bentrock, the NV Grand Reserve Sparkling (2020 Base) was disgorged in February of 2023 with a dosage of four grams per liter, after spending 2.5 years on its lees. The nose is effortlessly fragrant and refined, offering citrus peel, green orchard fruit, nougat and crushed stone aromas. The palate is elegantly chalky and succulent, exuding a refinement of mousse that is so difficult to find in domestic sparkling wines. It finishes with fine, chalky details and an ethereal lift, gracefully attaining its intended mission statement: a high-toned Sta. Rita Hills blanc de blancs made with Champenois intentionality and precision.”

Scharffenberger Cellars Brut Rosé, Mendocino County NV 750ml Displayed Price: $24, that’s $22.80 at 5% off and $21.60 at 10% off, 10 bottles in stock now
The Tasting Panel 93 points “The poppy on the label of this suave blend of 55% Chardonnay and 45% Pinot Noir is a tribute to the superblooms that occur throughout California in springtime but it also hints at the dry wine’s floral subtleties. There’s a faint touch of lilac on a nose brimming with fresh-baked sourdough, cherry, and blood orange, while rose graces the finish, preceded by splashes of wild strawberry, lemon rind, and Gala apple.”
Sauvignon Blanc & Aromatic Whites
This is the only listing in the USA today!
Alpha Omega Two Squared Sauvignon Blanc, Napa Valley 2019 750ml Displayed Price: $16, that’s $15.20 at 5% off and $14.40 at 10% off, 27 bottles in stock now
Winery Note “The 2020 Hudson Vineyard Sauvignon Blanc offers a sophisticated exploration of Napa Valley’s Carneros AVA. As the only Sauvignon Blanc produced from this prestigious vineyard, it reflects the vineyard’s unique character. Sourced from the esteemed Hudson Vineyard, which benefits from cool marine influences and sedimentary soils, this wine captures the essence of its terroir. Aromas of papaya, Fuji apple, and lime zest combine with floral notes of citrus blossom and hints of shortbread cookies. On the palate, flavors of lemon oil, nectarine, and nutmeg are complemented by a refreshing wet slate minerality and lively acidity. Aged for 16 months in a mix of French oak and stainless steel, this wine layers elegance and complexity, making it a perfect choice for those seeking a refined Sauvignon Blanc with character and depth.”

Bedrock Wine Co. Kick Ranch Sauvignon Blanc, Sonoma County 2023 750ml Displayed Price: $24, that’s $22.80 at 5% off and $21.60 at 10% off, 20 bottles in stock now
Winery Note “We have been extremely pleased with the consistently high quality of Sauvignon Blanc from Bedrock Vineyard despite the relative youth of the blocks it comes from. This is, no doubt, thanks to the deft hand of our viticulturist Jake Neustadt and foreman Alberto Rojas, who have been careful to keep the prolific variety well-balanced. Made completely from the Musqué clone to allow better aromatic development at lower potential alcohols, the fruit was whole-cluster pressed, then barrel fermented in a combination of Austrian and French oak barrels, a portion of which were new. The Sauvignon Blanc from Bedrock is blessed with an enormous amount of natural vibrancy thanks to its low 3.05 pH, so the barrels help to build texture and amplitude via lees contact. This balances the exotic passion fruit, mango, and lemon curd aromatics with dense and refreshing fruit. This is one of my favorite SBs we have made.”

Dry Creek Vineyard Dry Chenin Blanc, Clarksburg 2022 750ml Displayed Price: $16, that’s $15.20 at 5% off and $14.40 at 10% off, 33 bottles in stock now
Winery Note “We are proud to have produced Dry Chenin Blanc each and every year since our family winery was founded in 1972. Extremely versatile and food friendly, it is the perfect aperitif and one of our most beloved wines. Fermented in 100% stainless steel barrels, this beautiful wine is wonderfully bright and consistent vintage after vintage. At first swirl, aromatics of honeydew, watermelon and pineapple spring forward from the glass with floral notes of jasmine and honeysuckle. On the palate, the wine has refreshing flavors of cucumber, lime and nectarine with hints of geranium, sweet basil and ripe orange. The mouthfeel is soft but inviting, with a lively acidity. This classic, Loire Valley-style wine is excellent when paired with fresh oysters, seafood, or just about anything!”
Chardonnay
This is the lowest listed price on the West Coast!
Cline Cellars Seven Ranchlands Chardonnay, Sonoma County 2022 750ml Displayed Price: $16, that’s $15.20 at 5% off and $14.40 at 10% off, 26 bottles in stock now
Winery Note “Grapes for this Chardonnay come from three of our Sonoma Coast Vineyards located to the East of Petaluma – Catapult, Diamond Pile and Tolay Vista. This region is called “The Petaluma Gap”, defined as a corridor of cool air that comes from the Pacific Ocean and flows toward the east through the gap in the Sonoma Mountain range. This cool climate is ideal for slowly ripening Chardonnay and maintaining acidity. 2022 was a warm year with low yields, ensuring excellent ripeness and balanced acidity. A heat spike in September followed by cool rain extended the growing season, allowing the vines to slowly accumulate sugar and intensify the flavors.”

Failla Platt Vineyard Chardonnay, Sonoma Coast 2021 750ml Displayed Price: $51.90, that’s $49.31 at 5% off and $46.71 at 10% off, 26 bottles in stock now
Antonio Galloni-Vinous 95 points “The 2021 Chardonnay Platt Vineyard shows all the translucent finesse and nuance that is so typical of wines from this site. Lemon peel, chalk, mint white pepper and crushed rocks all run through this finely sculpted, delineated Sonoma Coast Chardonnay. This is such a gorgeous wine.”

Paul Hobbs George Menini Estate Chardonnay, Russian River Valley 2020 750ml Displayed Price: $59, that’s $56.05 at 5% off and $53.10 at 10% off, 15 bottles in stock now
Erin Brooks-Wine Advocate 95 points “The 2020 Chardonnay George Menini Estate is the first iteration of this single-vineyard wine from Paul Hobbs, from a vineyard that he recently purchased. Previously an apple orchard, it was planted to 39 acres of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay in 2015, mostly with heritage selections like Wente and Hudson. The vines are dry farmed in classic Goldridge soils. “The newer vineyards that I purchase are in cooler pockets, so I don’t have to acidulate,” Hobbs explains. “It has become a hallmark in the quest for vineyards, and the need to dry farm.” Matured for 15 months in 30% new oak, it has very pretty scents of white peach, honey, crushed almonds and flint. The light-bodied palate is silky with expansive flavors foiled by focused acidity, and it finishes with a touch of anchoring textural grip. 491 cases produced.”

Patz & Hall Sonoma Coast Chardonnay, California 2021 750ml Displayed Price: $21.90, that’s $20.81 at 5% off and $19.71 at 10% off, 24 bottles in stock now
Wine Spectator 92 points “Everything here fits together seamlessly, with pineapple, lemon curd and peach flavors backed by bright acidity, plus savory overtones of toasted, salted almond and a hint of candied ginger. There’s plenty of intensity on the fresh finish, where the flavors crescendo. Drink now. 7,400 cases made.”

Racines ‘Sta. Rita Hills Cuvee’ Chardonnay 2018 750ml Displayed Price: $39, that’s $37.05 at 5% off and $35.10 at 10% off, 14 bottles in stock now
Antonio Galloni-Vinous 91 points “The 2018 Chardonnay Sta. Rita Hills Cuvée is bright, airy and wonderfully perfumed. Ethereal and gracious, the 2018 lifts out of the glass with striking aromatic presence to match its chiseled, mid-weight personality. This is one of the more nervy, taut Chardonnays readers will come across in 2018, and yet there is lovely breadth that emerges with a bit of time in the glass. Hints of lemon confit, white flower and marzipan linger nicely on the close.”
Rosé
Arnot-Roberts Rosé, California 2024 750ml Displayed Price: $26, that’s $24.70 at 5% off and $23.40 at 10% off, 15 bottles in stock now
Winemaker’s Note “We began making Rosé from Touriga Nacional in 2010. We were compelled by the grape’s deep color, brilliant acidity and aromatic complexity even at low sugar content. Touriga is a late-ripening Portuguese variety that needs some heat to mature, and we have sought out vineyards suited to this hearty variety.”

Marietta Cellars OVR Old Vine Ranch Rosé, California 2024 750ml Displayed Price: $16, that’s $15.20 at 5% off and $14.40 at 10% off, 22 bottles in stock now
Winery Note “With a heritage that speaks to both tradition and innovation, this wine brings together the best of old-world grace and the bold, pioneering spirit of California. Juicy and vibrant, it shines on any table, offering layers of complexity and elegance that make it a perfect pairing for both intimate dinners and festive gatherings. Every sip is a reflection of craftsmanship and a tribute to the timeless appeal of California’s vineyards. Stonefruit, citrus, mineral.”

Beau Marchais Clos Pepe Vineyard Est Pinot Noir, Sta Rita Hills 2020 750ml Displayed Price: $85, that’s $80.75 at 5% off and $76.50 at 10% off, 10 bottles in stock now
Jeb Dunnuck 94-96 points “While there won’t be any releases from Santa Lucia due to smoke, they were able to release their Clos Pepe Pinot Noirs. The 2020 Pinot Noir Clos Pepe Est Vineyard saw 25% stems, 48 days on stems, and aging all in new barrels. Lots of mulberry, chocolate covered strawberries, and plum fruits as well as notes of orange blossom and spice emerge from the glass, and it’s a rich, full-bodied, textured beauty that packs one heck of a mid-palate. With ripe tannins and an expansive, supple texture, drink this hedonistic, sexy Pinot Noir on release and over the following 7-8 years.”

Cline Cellars Seven Ranchlands Pinot Noir, Sonoma Coast 2021 750ml Displayed Price: $19.50, that’s $18.53 at 5% off and $17.55 at 10% off, 10 bottles in stock now

Morlet Family Vineyards En Famille Pinot Noir, Fort Ross-Seaview 2018 750ml Displayed Price: $124, that’s $117.80 at 5% off and $111.60 at 10% off, 2 bottles in stock now
Lisa Perrotti-Brown, Wine Advocate 96 points “The En Famille Pinot Noir comes from a vineyard planted in 1990 to Goldridge soils, right next door to the “Coteaux Nobles” vineyard in Fort Ross-Seaview. Medium ruby-purple colored, the 2018 Pinot Noir En Famille sashays out of the glass with gorgeous scents of cranberry jelly, pomegranate and raspberry preserves, leading to suggestions of underbrush, dried lavender and orange peel. The full-bodied palate is densely laden with red fruit preserves and earthy layers, supported by very finely grained tannins and tons of freshness, finishing with a refreshing lift. 360 cases were made.”
Rhys Vineyards Mt. Pajaro Vineyard Pinot Noir, Santa Cruz Mountains 2018 750ml Displayed Price: $89, that’s $84.55 at 5% off and $80.10 at 10% off, 1 bottle in stock now
Rhys Vineyards Mt. Pajaro Vineyard Pinot Noir, Santa Cruz Mountains 2018 1.5L Displayed Price: $199, that’s $189.05 at 5% off and $179.10 at 10% off, 1 magnum in stock now
Matthew Luczy-Wine Advocate 93+ points “This is only the second vintage of a Mt. Pajaro vineyard-designate Pinot Noir, and the immense potential of this site is on full display. The 2018 Pinot Noir Mt. Pajaro Vineyard opens with aromas of black cherry, compacted soil, fruitcake and charcoal. The palate is lively, tense and generously textured, leading to a sturdy, dense, blooming finish. While this immensely structured vintage dictates the necessity of time in the cellar, this is an impressive showing from a young site with a bright future.”
Cab Sauv, Cab Franc, Merlot & Bordeaux-Style Blends
Dominus Estate Christian Moueix, Napa Valley 2019 750ml Displayed Price: $319, that’s $303.05 at 5% off and $287.10 at 10% off, 4 bottles in stock now
Lisa Perrotti-Brown, The Wine Independent 100 points “Composed of 90% Cabernet Sauvignon, 4% Cabernet Franc, and 6% Petit Verdot, the 2019 Dominus was harvested from September 29 to October 10. It was aged in 40% new oak. Deep garnet-purple colored, the nose slowly unfurls to unveil beguiling floral notes of candied violets and rose oil over a core of crème de cassis, blackberry pie, and plum preserves, giving way to notions of licorice, Indian spices, iron ore, and crushed rocks. Full-bodied, the palate is jam-packed with taut, muscular black fruit layers, intertwined with gorgeous floral and exotic spice accents, and framed by firm, finely grained tannins with seamless freshness, finishing long and mineral-laced. Tightly coiled with so much latent energy waiting to explode, this is a spectacular expression of the vintage and Napanook vineyard. Still tightly coiled, give it a good 6-7 years in the cellar before broaching, and allow it a few hours in a decanter if consumed before 2032.”

Caladan Cabernet Franc, Napa Valley 2017 750ml Was $219, Displayed Price: $199, that’s $189.05 at 5% off and $179.10 at 10% off, 12 bottles in stock now
Lisa Perrotti-Brown, Wine Advocate 97 points “Very deep garnet-purple colored, the 2017 Cabernet Franc is a little closed to begin, slowly revealing redcurrant jelly, blackberry pie, boysenberries and mulberries with nuances of Ceylon tea, raspberry leaves, tilled soil, pencil shavings and underbrush. The palate is wonderfully elegant with a medium to full body and very fine-grained tannins supporting perfumed cherries and black berries layers, finishing long and energetic.”
(Araujo) Eisele Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon, Napa Valley 2016 750ml Displayed Price: $549, that’s $521.55 at 5% off and $494.10 at 10% off, 6 bottles in stock now
Decanter 100 points “One of the most legendary vineyards in the Napa Valley, the Eisele Vineyard was purchased by François Pinault of Château Latour in Pauillac in the Médoc, Bordeaux from the Araujo family which had owned it for 23 years (from 1990 to 2013). The winemaking is now in the hands of 41-year-old winemaker Hélène Mingot. For this vintage, Hélène used only rockiest blocks planted in shallow soils near Simmons Creek.”
Faust Cabernet Sauvignon, Napa Valley 2022 750ml Displayed Price: $49, that’s $46.55 at 5% off and $44.10 at 10% off, 24 bottles in stock now
Jeb Dunnuck “Aged 20 months in French oak (25% new), the 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon offers a great nose of cassis, dark currants, spicy oak, and violet notes. Medium to full-bodied, easygoing, and delicious on the palate, this charming effort will drink nicely over the coming 7-8 years. (Drink between 2025-2033).”

Antonio Galloni-Vinous 97 points “The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon is a rich, heady wine. Even though it was just bottled, the 2019 possesses remarkable textural intensity. A whole range of floral and savory notes open as this statuesque Cabernet shows off its personality. This is an especially rich, bombastic Cabernet from Ric Forman.”

Lokoya Winery Mount Veeder Cabernet Sauvignon, Napa Valley 2019 750ml Displayed Price: $489, that’s $464.55 at 5% off and $440.10 at 10% off, 3 bottles in stock now
Jeb Dunnuck 100 points “Another riveting wine, the 2019 Mount Veeder Cabernet Sauvignon has a Chāteau Latour-like stature and regalness, with full-bodied richness and incredible concentration, as well as structure, on the palate. Cassis, blueberry liqueur, lead pencil shavings, crushed stone, and graphite notes all define the nose, and it hits the palate with incredible power and opulence, yet stays pure, flawlessly balanced, and has a finish that won’t quit. This is as brilliant as Cabernet gets, and Carpenter is clearly playing with the best in the business. Give bottles 4-5 years if you can and it will cruise for 30-40 years.”

Rutherford Hill AJT Collection Cabernet Sauvignon, Rutherford 2021 750ml Displayed Price: $49, that’s $46.55 at 5% off and $44.10 at 10% off, 23 bottles in stock now
James Suckling 92 points “Notes of cassis, dark plums, pralines and mild spices on the nose follow through to a full body with creamy tannins and texture. Plenty of creamy berries and sweet spices on the palate, with a generous, chocolatey finish. Drink or hold.”
Screaming Eagle Cabernet Sauvignon, Napa Valley 2022 750ml Displayed Price: $1,995, that’s $1895.25 at 5% off and $1795.50 at 10% off, 3 bottles in stock now
Jeb Dunnuck 95-97 points “While I wasn’t able to taste the 2021s, the 2022s from Screaming Eagle are undeniable successes. Tasted from multiple barrels, the 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon has medium to full-bodied, richness, beautiful purity of fruit and ripe, building tannins, as well as a good spine of acidity. This estate did an incredible selection, and it certainly shows in all the samples I was able to taste.” 95 POINTS- VINOUS “Floral and silky in the glass, with lovely forward fruit, the 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon is a decidedly delicate, elegant wine. It offers terrific freshness and verve. Floral and citrus overtones lift a core of red-toned fruit. The low-ish tannins of the vintage are evident in the wine’s mid-weight structure. In the 2022, it’s the wine’s freshness I admire most. I imagine the 2022 is a rare Screaming Eagle that will drink well with minimal cellaring.”

Decanter 95 points “This fragrant Syrah is sourced from two sites in the chilly coastal pocket of the Bien Nacido vineyard in the Santa Maria valley: the X block planted in 1973 and the higher elevation Z block planted in 1990. Despite its lean frame, it’s a glistening, lipsmacking wine with cutting blackberry and cassis flavours. Nervy and revitalising, with a cool, granitic undertow. (Drink between 2024-2036).”

Marietta Cellars Gibson Block Syrah, McDowell Valley 2021 750ml Displayed Price: $39, that’s $37.05 at 5% off and $35.10 at 10% off, 19 bottles in stock now
Antonio Galloni-Vinous 95 points “The 2021 Gibson Block, old-vine Syrah and Grenache, is a heady, extroverted wine. Ripe dark-toned fruit, new leather, spice, dried herbs, gravel, incense and tobacco all saturate the palate. Readers will find a wine of textural intensity and stature to burn. Bright acids pull it all together on the finish to balance the wine’s more extroverted qualities.”

Arnot-Roberts Kirschenmann Vineyard Zinfandel, Mokelumne River 2023 750ml Displayed Price: $39, that’s $37.05 at 5% off and $35.10 at 10% off, 9 bottles in stock now
Winery Note “In the spring of 2012, our friends Tegan and Olivia Passalacqua purchased an incredible old vineyard east of Lodi in the tiny town of Victor, California named Kirschenmann. The site is located on an oxbow of the Mokelumne River, which over centuries has deposited loads of fine, sandy, granitic loam from erosion of the Sierra Nevada mountains to the East. The vineyard was planted in 1915 on its own roots and is primarily Zinfandel, with a little Carignane, Cinsault and Mondeuse Noir spread throughout the block. The old, twisted, dry-farmed vines are thriving under the watchful eye of Tegan, one of the foremost experts on old vines in California. Tegan also produces his own wine under the Sandlands label and is the current winemaker for Turley Vineyards in Napa. We are lucky to be offered one ton of this fruit per year allowing us to vinify just 2-3 barrels annually.”

Ridge Vineyards Monte Bello, Santa Cruz Mountains 2021 750ml Displayed Price: $269, that’s $255.55 at 5% off and $242.10 at 10% off, 6 bottles in stock now
James Suckling 100 points “Tightly wound at this stage, the wine is massively concentrated, taut, yet trim and medium-bodied. Aged in 100% new oak, predominantly American, it offers espresso, blackberry, black cherry and vanilla bean flavors with a linear intensity and drive. Known to age and improve for several decades, this is one of California’s most collectible cabs and from a classic, age-worthy vintage. Best from 2031.”
Turley Wine Cellars Juvenile Zinfandel, California 2023 750ml Displayed Price: $26, that’s $24.70 at 5% off and $23.40 at 10% off, 19 bottles in stock now
Wine Spectator 92 points “Brimming with verve, offering fresh flavors and aromas of black cherry, raspberry, briar patch and savory pepper that end with snappy tannins. Drink now through 2033”

Antonio Galloni-Vinous 92-94 points “The 2023 Zinfandel Pesenti Vineyard is a classic Paso Robles Zinfandel. It emerges from a site planted in 1923. Inky dark fruit, chocolate, new leather, licorice and cloves blast across the palate. A wine of substance and forward, luscious fruit, the 2023 is alluring from start to finish.”

Renaissance Vineyard & Winery Late Harvest Sauvignon Blanc, North Yuba 1989 375ml Displayed Price: $11.90, that’s $11.31 at 5% off and $10.71 at 10% off, 36+ half-bottles in stock now
Winery Note “Medium to dark amber-brown in color, this wine smells of burnt orange peel, a hint of bergamot, and cafe au lait. In the mouth dark burnt honey, cafe au lait, and a touch of even darker molasses flavors have a wonderful toasted grain quality to them that makes this wine seem almost more savory than sweet despite its significant sugar levels. Really compelling and interesting, with plenty of acidity to keep this wine lively after all this time. A phenomenal flavor experience. Moderately sweet.”
