Arterberry Maresh Old Vines Pinot Noir, Dundee Hills 2022 750ml Displayed Price: $54.50, that’s $51.78 at 5% off and $49.05 at 10% off, 22 bottles in stock now
Eric Guido-Vinous 94 points
“The 2022 Pinot Noir Dundee Hills Old Vines is remarkably pretty, cascading up from the glass with a vibrant blend of minty herbs and crushed cherries complemented by hints of cola and spice. This has energy to spare, silken in feel with ripe red berry fruits that envelop the senses. It takes on a darker shade toward the close as tactile minerals saturate. A bump of juicy acidity enlivens the finish as sweet tannins tug at the senses and notes of blood orange slowly fade. The 2022 is like a well-muscled dancer. It’s already so likable that many collectors may not have the patience to watch it fully mature. The Dundee Hills Old Vines is sourced from vines that average 41 years old, all Pommard clones, sourced from 75% Maresh and 25% Weber Vineyard.”
Producer Note “A blend of Weber and Maresh. Darker red fruit, silky and floral from a long hang time in October.”

Ayres Lewis Rogers Lane Pinot Noir, Ribbon Ridge 2022 750ml Displayed Price: $39, that’s $37.05 at 5% off and $35.10 at 10% off, 17 bottles in stock now
Winemaker’s Note
“The Ayres Willamette Valley Pinot is sourced from the Ayres Estate in Ribbon Ridge at 474 feet elevation, and the Oliver Vineyard in Yamhill Carlton at 600 feet elevation. Wines are fermented in open top, 2 ton fermenters using all indigenous yeasts for both primary and secondary fermentations. A small amount of whole clusters were used.”

This is the lowest listed price on the West Coast!
Brick House Vineyards ‘Les Dijonnais’ Pinot Noir, Ribbon Ridge 2022 750ml Displayed Price: $59, that’s $56.05 at 5% off and $53.10 at 10% off, 12 bottles in stock now
Eric Guido-Vinous 94 points
“Sweetly spiced, the 2022 Pinot Noir Les Dijonnais opens with an intoxicating bouquet of cedar spice box, incense, clove and black cherry. This is juicy in character, silky-smooth and complex, with vividly ripe red berry fruits and rosy inner florals accelerated by brilliant acidity. It finishes with admirable length, subtly tannic yet focused, leaving a tart cranberry concentration and a flourish of minerality that keeps the mouth watering for more. Fantastic.”

Cameron Winery Pinot Noir, Dundee Hills 2023 750ml Displayed Price: $36, that’s $34.20 at 5% off and $32.40 at 10% off, 16 bottles in stock now
Winery Note
“Being our largest bottling of Pinot noir, the Dundee Hills blend can portend the broader strokes of the vintage. If the same holds true for 2023, Dear Reader, you’ll be glad to hold onto the Camerons from this vintage. With its deep purple and ruby color, notes of ripe bing cherry, Italian plum and forest floor, and smooth but present tannin, the 2023 Dundee Hills Pinot noir is showing concentration fit for aging. Sage and western cedar on the nose and it’s bright acidity make this wine ready for immediate consumption — may we recommend some for now and some for later!”

Championship Bottle ‘Lost Coastlines’ Fir Crest Vineyard Pinot Noir, Willamette Valley 2021 750ml Displayed Price: $33, that’s $31.35 at 5% off and $29.70 at 10% off, 17 bottles in stock now
Winery Note
“Lost Coastlines hails from Fir Crest Vineyard, a site that we believe to be the most interesting in all of the prestigious Yamhill-Carlton AVA, but whose reputation hadn’t yet caught up to its quality. Robert Mosier’s site takes the marine-sedimentary soils that the appellation is known for, but its proximity to the coast makes it significantly cooler than most of the more famous vineyards nearby. That means a wine with a intriguing dialectic between dark color and lively acidity, between red and black fruits, all laced with a distinct edge of rosemary and thyme. It’s a structured bottle that’s built for the cellar—perhaps less playful than our other reds, but with a tremendously compelling personality.Fir Crest responds beautifully to whole-cluster fermentation, and we avoided masking any of the site’s personality with new oak. 120 cases were produced, though we are earmarking a chunk of those for our library already.”

Clos Griotte Momtazi Vineyard Pinot Noir, Willamette Valley 2018 750ml Displayed Price: $49, that’s $46.55 at 5% off and $44.10 at 10% off, 11 bottles in stock now
Wine Enthusiast 93 points
“Biodynamically farmed fruit from this much-loved vineyard was fermented in 500 liter puncheons and aged in both puncheons and barrels. It’s earthy and complex, with scents of clover and brambly red berries. Highlights of citrus and punchy phenolic flavors reflect the sure touch of winemaker Thibaud Mandet in this, his second release following 13 years at WillaKenzie. -Paul Gregutt”

Crowley La Colina Vineyard Pinot Noir, Dundee Hills 2021 750ml Displayed Price: $49, that’s $46.55 at 5% off and $44.10 at 10% off, 10 bottles in stock now
Michael Alberty-Wine Enthusiast 95 points
“Match this winemaker with Dundee Hills fruit and magic happens. The La Colina grabs you by the lapels with its aromas of black cherries, watermelon, rye bread and the saline quality of a fresh-shucked oyster. Bing cherries mingle with dark chocolate and dried cranberries on the medium-bodied palate, ably supported by a mix of jangly acidity and silky tannins.”

Carlton Hill Vineyard Estate Pinot Noir, Yamhill-Carlton District 2019 750ml Displayed Price: $49, that’s $46.55 at 5% off and $44.10 at 10% off, 15 bottles in stock now
Wine Enthusiast 90 points
“Cherry and assorted barrel spices meld on the aromas. Beyond that are notes of herb. The palate brings flavor, while remaining light on its feet.”

Domaine Drouhin Oregon – Roserock Zephirine Pinot Noir, Eola-Amity Hills 2022 750ml Displayed Price: $64.50, that’s $61.28 at 5% off and $58.05 at 10% off, 5 bottles in stock now
Jeb Dunnuck 97 points
“A richer red hue, the 2022 Pinot Noir Zephine Roserock is also more floral and has some savory elements, but it also has a more pronounced dark stone mineral tone, with violets, black raspberries, tea leaf, and toasted spices. Medium-bodied, it’s ripe but has fantastic linear drive through its floral-noted finish, and the lift almost suggests whole cluster, yet it’s entirely destemmed. Drink it over the next 15 or more years.”

Evesham Wood La Grive Bleue Pinot Noir, Willamette Valley 2022 750ml Displayed Price: $39, that’s $37.05 at 5% off and $35.10 at 10% off, 17 bottles in stock now
Eric Guido-Vinous 94 points
“The 2022 Pinot Noir La Grive Bleue is distinctly savory. It opens with an herbal thrust of rosemary and sage before evolving into wild blueberries, wilted violets and flowery underbrush. This is youthfully lean and compact, washing across the palate with silken textures and a refined blend of red berries and spice. It tapers off with tense tannins, a firm acid spine and hints of tangerine, leaving the taster completely enamored. Readers should wait another year or two to indulge in this bottle. (Drink between 2026-2032).”

The Eyrie Vineyards Pinot Noir, Dundee Hills 2021 750ml Displayed Price: $49, that’s $46.55 at 5% off and $44.10 at 10% off, 27 bottles in stock now
Eric Guido-Vinous 94+ points
“The 2021 Pinot Noir Estate lifts from the glass with a mentholated freshness, giving way to dried roses and strawberries. Silky and enveloping, it possesses a core of vividly ripe wild berries and sweet herbal tones that resonate over a tactile staining of saline minerals. Grippy tannins saturate through the long, spicy finish as repleting inner florals and bitter hints of licorice fade.”

Fullerton Momtazi Vineyard Pinot Noir, McMinnville 2018 750ml Displayed Price: $44.50, that’s $42.28 at 5% off and $40.05 at 10% off, 26 bottles in stock now
Wine Enthusiast 94 points
“This fine-tuned elaboration emphasizes the fruit component of this biodynamic vineyard with crisp, fresh raspberry flavors upfront. The wet rock minerality of the AVA and the inherent herbal pungency of the site are threaded in, and the finish is buoyed with juicy acidity that brightens it. Slightly more than one-quarter of the barrels were new.”

Winery Note
“The modest temperatures and even growing season post-flowering seems to have resulted in wines that have knit together quickly and show fantastic poise. This balance is likely to result in wines that drink wonderfully young and will mature gracefully.”

Hundred Suns Carson Phillips Vineyard Pinot Noir, Dundee Hills 2023 750ml Displayed Price: $59, that’s $56.05 at 5% off and $53.10 at 10% off, 16 bottles in stock now
Winery Note
“Candied cherries and raspberry preserve mix it up with a crazy aroma of…gummy peach rings. Really. The first sip delivers cherries dusted in cocoa powder with fruit that is present and full, and it carries a beautiful acid streak that is born from this cool vineyard in the northwest corner of the Dundee Hills. Planted 23 years ago, this site is farmed sustainably without the use of synthetic chemicals or herbicides. Dry-farmed and deep-rooted, the vines express the intensity of the volcanic soils from which they draw their nutrients and water. A cool spring and late bud break quickly transitioned to warm weather. Persistent summer heat allowed us to harvest fully ripe fruit on September 17th. Fermented with natural yeast and 25% whole cluster, this gorgeous wine layers dark cherry, candied strawberries and a rich palate. Bottled unfined and unfiltered.”

Kelley Fox Wines Maresh Vineyard Golden-Crowned Sparrow Blocks Pinot Noir, Dundee Hills 2022 750ml Displayed Price: $89, that’s $84.55 at 5% off and $80.10 at 10% off, 6 bottles in stock now
Eric Guido-Vinous 94 points
“The 2022 Pinot Noir Maresh Vineyard Golden Crowned Sparrow Blocks is darkly alluring with crushed woodland berries complicated by blood orange and pine hints. Silky textures and stimulating acidity soothe, washing tart red fruits across the palate guided by zesty acidity. This finishes wonderfully fresh and long with a staining of red and black fruit and crunchy tannins.”

“Woodland berries, shavings of cedar and ground cloves form a darkly alluring bouquet as the 2021 Pinot Noir Cuvée opens in the glass. It’s soft-textured and round with ripe red berry fruits and sweet spices that swirl throughout. Juicy acidity maintains freshness as the 2021 tapers off with medium length and a flourish of cola. (Drink between 2024-2028).”

Eric Guido-Vinous 92 points
“Delicate and understated in the glass, the 2023 Pinot Noir Freedom Hill Vineyard wafts up with nuances of geranium, rose, wet stones and wild strawberries. It possesses a pretty inner sweetness and ripe wild berry fruit across a wave of silken textures. Juicy and fresh yet also potent, this 2023 Pinot Noir leaves a licorice twang and a hint of citrus to fade slowly.”

“Crimson color. Soaring aromatics display the opulence of the 2021 vintage. Blackberry, lavender, blood orange and fresh bing cherry notes intermingle with middle eastern spices such as cumin and cardamom. Intensity gathers in a full mid-palate that gives way to a waterfall of tannins that are at once chalky, fine and saturating. This balanced, full-bodied wine will make old bones as the boisterous fruit, kiss of oak and sturdy frame integrate into a classic Ribbon Ridge Pinot Noir.”

“The 2021 Pinot Noir Temperance Hill Vineyard in youthfully coiled, slowly evolving with scant black cherries, grilled herbs and a tinge of crushed stone. This is racy and sleek with lean red berry fruits and tactile mineral tones, all guided by brisk acidity. It leaves a flowery concentration that coats the palate as gently grippy tannins resonate on. Patience will be required. “

Decanter 91 points
“[Tasted July 2024] Bright fruits and gravel dust aromas make a show of things in this Pinot Noir from the Carlton Hill Vineyard in the Yamhill-Carlton appellation. The palate shows ample spice and red fruit, such as currants, tart Montmorency cherries, and spiced blood orange. An undercurrent of pine bough and white pepper lifts the wine to its finish. Drinking Window 2024 – 2030.”
