2016 was an all-time-great year in Tuscany and as you’d expect, the 2016 Ornellaia is special stuff. We’ve managed to secure additional stock on this stunner and the first drop just arrived. Separating the 2015 and ’16 vintages in terms of quality seems impossible, so let’s just say that the 2016 is one of the two or three best vintages of the wine in the last decade—which is to say it’s on the shortlist for best Super Tuscan of the century.
