The Legendary Tawny & Colheita Ports

From Kopke

While we might yet be waiting for winter in Portland (considering 2020 has three weeks left, expect a snowmageddon) it is certainly time for Port. The temperatures have dropped and we’ve still got every excuse to stay home and enjoy the full breadth of a wine that will warm you, head to toe. There are a million reasons to close out the year with the amazing wines of Kopke.

The Champagne House That Keeps Other Importers Up At Night

While Vinopolis does not have a “house” Champagne, if there was one that we recommend more than any other it might well be the Grand Réserve and the Silver Brut Nature, both from Andre Clouet. Two Value Stars of the Northern Rhone

Eric and Joel Durand

The Durand brothers are making it look easy.  It’s hard to find Northern Rhone wines that combine soul and polish—it seems as if most of the new wines we taste are either hyper glossy or very rustic.  To hit that sweet spot, where your wines speak very loudly of place but are elegant, drinkable and age-worthy—that’s special indeed.
