Horsepower Vineyards ‘The Tribe Vineyard’ Syrah, Walla Walla Valley 2019 750ml $179 special, 11 bottles in stock now
Anthony Mueller-Wine Advocate 97 points
“The 2019 Syrah The Tribe Vineyard starts with a stemmy, fresh and savory nose with a delightful meaty aroma and dusty florals before wafting with a succulent raspberry skin essence. Medium to full-bodied, the Syrah displays a vibrant mineral tension and spicy mouthfeel before subtle flavors of dried herbs sway with a firm tannic structure.

Fontodi’s Sangiovese Masterpiece – Flaccianello

The top offerings of Chianti Classico are sourced from hilltop plantings, which allow for temperature mitigation during the occasionally sweltering growing season in addition to providing a higher degree of ripeness. Often featuring older vines and élevage in new oak these are among the most bold and age worthy examples of Sangiovese in the world.  Envinate

Envínate is a small group of winemaking friends (Alfonso Torrente, José Ángel Martínez, Laura Ramos, and Roberto Santana). Envínate wines are highly sought after as authentic expressions of their terroirs and forerunners of the “New Spanish” wine movement. The friends produce wines of purity with low-intervention winemaking and vineyard management using ancient vineyards.  They seek to highlight the individual terroirs of their home regions in Spain, including the Canary Islands.

Despite being warm, tropical islands, the Canaries are home to several wine-growing regions, particularly along the foggy cliffs and slopes that line the Atlantic Ocean along the northern coastline on the main island, Tenerefe.
