Cadence remains one of the best kept secrets in Washington wine—producing wines that are both singular in their pursuit and also incredibly reasonably priced for their quality. These Bordeaux-influenced blends, solely from the Red Mountain AVA, are among our favorite to drink and to cellar every year.  Don’t expect fruit bombs here, though, as the wines are classically built in style—they remind us of old-school Napa wines in that way.
 
Inspired by the Old World and an affinity for well-structured wines in general, owners Ben Smith and Gaye McNutt decided to focus their winemaking production to Bordeaux style blends.
