Evesham Wood Willamette Valley Pinot Noir 2024 750ml $24 special, 24 bottles in stock now
Winery Note
“This vintage of the Willamette Valley blend shows a bright nose with cherry, red apple, fresh flowers, and a touch of loam along with a textural creamy/silkiness component that’s balanced by juicy acid. Showing well now, watch this wine evolve over the next three months to 8-10 years.”

Evesham Wood Eola-Amity Hills Pinot Noir, Willamette Valley 2023 750ml $33 special, 12 bottles in stock now
Decanter 93 points
“One of the best deals in American Pinot Noir, the Evesham Wood Willamette Valley bottling amazes in the $25 range. This wine is an assemblage from the top sites used in the Evesham Wood and Haden Fig single-vineyard bottlings, blended to give a picture of a year in the valley. This wine punches far above its weight class, with savoury herbs and soaring florals on the nose, complemented by mint, thyme, and white pepper. The palate is filled with electric red fruits, tart cranberries, blood orange, and a tremendous salty minerality that cuts through the fruit brilliantly. One of the most under-the-radar talents in the country, Erin Nuccio, of both Evesham Wood and Haden Fig, continues to make some of the Valley’s best wines and definitively produces the best values in the region.”

RouteStock Cellars ‘Route 121’ Chardonnay, Sonoma Coast 2024 750ml $21.90 special, 11 bottles in stock now
Importer Note
“The wine has a brilliant straw color with seductive aromas of wild thyme, fresh oregano, Meyer lemon and seckel pear. The flavors are sharply focused, bright yet expansive with an amazing balance of lemon, pear, fresh herbs and a slight kiss of very pretty French oak that dance together to create a mesmerizingly complex wine that balances on the razors edge between lean/crisp and opulent/effusive. The long lingering finish brings you back for another sip, another glass, another bottle!”

Faust Cabernet Sauvignon, Napa Valley 2022 750ml $49 special, 23 bottles in stock now
Jeb Dunnuck 90 points
“Aged 20 months in French oak (25% new), the 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon offers a great nose of cassis, dark currants, spicy oak, and violet notes. Medium to full-bodied, easygoing, and delicious on the palate, this charming effort will drink nicely over the coming 7-8 years. (Drink between 2025-2033).”

Turley Wine Cellars Cedarman Vineyard Zinfandel, Howell Mountain 2022 750ml $41.90 special, 12 bottles in stock now
Antonio Galloni-Vinous 91-93 points
“The 2022 Zinfandel Cedarman is stellar. Dark and imposing, the 2022 possesses tremendous intensity and plenty of Howell Mountain structure. Black fruit, licorice, incense, graphite, tobacco and dried herbs build, filling out the layers. Dense and resonant, this is seriously impressive.”

Turley Wine Cellars Fredericks Zinfandel, Sonoma Valley 2022 750ml $49 special, 12 bottles in stock now
Matthew Luczy-Wine Advocate 94+ points
“The 2022 Zinfandel Fredericks Vineyard is medium to deep ruby in the glass. It opens slowly but steadily with multifaceted aromas of peach skin, dried red berries, dark spices, wafts of cooling botanicals and a lifted, vibrant floral perfume. The full-bodied palate is suave, concentrated and polished, hiding rustic but gentle tannins and seamless, mineral-tinged acidity with its long, perfumed finish. As with much of the 2022 Turley Zinfandels, this should unwind and come into itself after 3-5 years in bottle and provide more than a decade of enjoyment in the cellar.”

Gerard Boulay Sancerre ‘Sibylle’ Rosé, Loire 2024 750ml $41.90 special, 12 bottles in stock now
Rebecca Gibb MW-Vinous 94 points
“The 2024 Sibylle is a fabulous Rosé. There was no red made at Boulay in 2024 and what would normally go in the reds made it into the Sibylle. As a result, this is a high-quality, intensely concentrated style. There’s an element of fleshiness, but then here comes the acidity to tie it all up. This is sophisticated, pale and vinous. It’s a proper pink.”

Domaine Fernand Girard Sancerre La Garenne, Loire 2024 750ml $31.90 special, 12 bottles in stock now
Importer Note
“100% Sauvignon Blanc. “La Garenne” was named for the original 2.5-hectare plot from which it came. Today, the name remains while the fruit may come from across the fifth-generation Girards’ 14 hectares of vines, which are spread over slopes in five communes including Verdigny and Saint Satur and which include three distinct terroirs: gravel soils (caillottes), flint (silex) and heavy clay (grosses terres). The Girards farm sustainably and harvest the steepest slopes by hand and the flatter sites by machine. Parcels are vinified separately–fermented with native yeasts in steel tank–then aged in tank and blended.”

Thomas-Labaille Sancerre L’Authentique, Loire 2024 750ml $31.90 special, 11 bottles in stock now
Importer Note
“100% Sauvignon Blanc. Originally labeled simply as “Sancerre”, L’Authentique is Thomas-Labaille’s multi-parcel estate bottling. All of the vines are on the Kimmeridgian limestone soils of Chavignol and average twenty-five years old; they are sustainably farmed and harvested by hand. The wine is fermented with native yeasts in fiberglass and cement tanks, aged on its lees in stainless steel tanks for four to six months and bottled without filtration.”

Domaine de la Pépière Muscadet Sevre-et-Maine Sur Lie ‘La Pépie’, Loire 2023 750ml $19 special, 23 bottles in stock now
John Gilman-A View from the Cellar 92 points
“The Muscadet ‘la Pépie’ from Domaine de la Pépière is the first example from this appellation that I have tasted from the 2023 vintage and fully underscores just how favored Muscadet was in this difficult growing season. The vibrant bouquet hops from the glass in a complex combination of green apple, lime, lovely minerality, briny notes of ocean breeze and a topnote of dried flowers. On the palate the wine is zesty, precise and full-bodied, with an excellent core of fruit, lovely mineral drive and cut, a fine spine of acidity and lovely precision on the long, impeccably balanced and complex finish. This is excellent Muscadet and a stunning value! 2024- 2045.”

Domaine de la Pépière Muscadet Sevre-et-Maine Sur Lie Clos des Briords Cuvee Vieilles Vignes, Loire 2024 750ml $24 special, 23 bottles in stock now
Importer Note
“100% Melon de Bourgogne. Classic Muscadet on granite. The core of the “La Pépie” Sur Lie bottling is the 10-hectare heart of the Pépière estate, which is part of the Clisson cru in the tiny commune of Pépière near the winery; there is also a portion of purchased fruit from a nearby organic farmer friend in the mix. Pépière’s farming is certified-biodynamic and the harvest by hand. The bunches are direct-pressed and the juice settled for 12 hours. It is fermented in stainless steel tanks with natural yeasts; the wine is aged on its lees for 6-8 months in large, underground, glass-lined cement tanks. It is bottled without filtration.”

Calabretta ‘Gaio Gaio’ Rosso, Sicily 2022 750ml $21.90 special, 24 bottles in stock now
Winery Note
“Red wine from young vines planted in the Calderara Sottana district after rigorous mass selection, and partly without rootstock. The fruity character and delicate floral soul suggest a young, tasteful and drinkable wine. We recommend drinking it even in summer…with the help of an ice basket.”

Calabretta Nerello Mascalese Vigne Vecchie Sicilia IGT, Sicily 2016 750ml $34.50 special, 23 bottles in stock now
No reviews for 2016 vintage. 2015 provided for reference.
Antonio Galloni-Vinous 93 points “The 2015 Nerello Mascalese Vigne Vecchie is simply stunning, erupting from the glass with a burst of crushed black cherries, cloves, blood orange and hints of dusty earth. This is soft-textured, nearly fleshy in feel, with a core of tart red berry fruits offset by sour citrus as rosy inner florals form toward the close. It finishes with staining length and concentration, just lightly structured, leaving a sensation of hard red candies to fade. This is a vibrant vintage of Vigne Vecchie, but it possesses the balance for further evolution.”

Casa Emma Chianti Classico DOCG, Tuscany 2023 750ml $28 special, 12 bottles in stock now
Decanter 89 points
“The estate’s vineyards expand over the crest of San Donato in Poggio’s plateau on stony, limestone-rich Alberese soil. Ageing in a combination of tonneaux and cement yields an open-knit nose of vanilla-tinged plum and candied red berries. A hint of smoke swirls in the background. Delightful and lively, the palate emphasises supple yet juicy fruit in a midweight package. Soft acidity is matched by a velvety texture.”

Cameron Winery Dundee Hills Chardonnay, Willamette Valley 2024 750ml $24 special, 34 bottles in stock now
Winery Note
“Vinified from 40 year old vines at Abbey Ridge & Clos Electrique, this is the best Chardonnay in its price range on the market.Lime leaf, apple and orange blossom aromatics pair with vibrant, plush mouth. Acid plays well with a long, mineral finish allows it to be both an aperitif while you’re cooking and a perfect pairing with the meal – though if you drink enough while you’re cooking, this latter point will be unimportant!”

Cameron Winery Clos Electrique Blanc, Dundee Hills 2023 750ml $79 special, 12 bottles in stock now
Winery Note
“2023 is an exceptional vintage for Clos Electrique. This wine shows the value of our liquid-gold Corton clone in the vineyard’s massale: aromas of lime leaf, apple blossom and jasmine meet (dare we say it) electrifying acidity and a clean palette with lingering notes of chalk and salinity. Shimmering, an arpeggio of bright and beautiful Chardonnay notes on the right hand before the left joins with succulent flavor–sustaining. 2023 is sure to be a fine example of this wine!”

Cameron Winery Nebbiolo, Dundee Hills 2021 750ml $41.90 special, 8 bottles in stock now
Winery Note
“From our 20-ish year old planting at Clos Electrique and the stunning vines at Alan Foster’s White Oak Vineyard on Ribbon Ridge, Cameron Nebbiolo is a labor of love. After three years in the cellar and one in the bottle, we’re offering the 2021 vintage, the hottest year in the region on record and perhaps our strongest Nebbiolo to date. The nose offers very cool, ethereal aromas of menthol, leather, and dried rose petals. The palate is all Nebbiolo with its firm tannins, medium body and notes of orange peel, fine tobacco and dried porcini. Very Alto-Piemontese-like. Enjoyable now with decanting and some hearty fare, this wine will really blossom over the next 7-15 years!”

Ridge Vineyards Grenache Blanc, Paso Robles 2023 750ml $31.90 special, 12 bottles in stock now
James Suckling 93 points
“Brilliant acidity backs up subtle, savory and fresh citrus flavors in this full-bodied and well-balanced Rhone-style white. Aromas like a hay field, lanolin and dry earth meet tangy apricot, lime zest, mineral and almond flavors on a broad but lively texture. Includes 14% picpoul and 2% roussanne grapes. Drink now or hold.”

Ridge Vineyards ‘Three Valleys’ Red, Sonoma County 2023 750ml $36 special, 12 bottles in stock now
Wine Spectator 93 points
“Generous and robust yet retains a sense of polish, with expressive raspberry and blueberry flavors highlighted by licorice and pepper, plus a whiff of dill as this builds toward fine-grained tannins. Zinfandel, Carignane, Petite Sirah, Mataro and Alicante Bouschet. Drink now through 2034. 25,000 cases made.”

Ridge Vineyards Geyserville, Alexander Valley 2023 750ml $54.50 special, 12 bottles in stock now
Jeb Dunnuck 95 points
“A perennial standout for the winery that is produced for wider distribution, the 2023 Zinfandel Geyserville is a blend of 70% Zinfandel, 18% Carignane, 9% Petite Sirah and 3% Alicante, the 2023 a highly ageable vintage with great acidity. That freshness helps to define the wine’s juicy core of well-mannered, supple tannins and oak, the wine aged entirely in 100% air-dried American oak, 15% of it new. It truly offers the perfect balance of dark fruit and freshness, within a full-bodied richness and structure still built for aging, as with all Ridge wines. Enjoy now through 2033.”

Ridge Vineyards East Bench Zinfandel, Dry Creek Valley 2023 750ml $41.90 special, 12 bottles in stock now
Jeb Dunnuck 95 points
“A 100% Zin from a single-vineyard estate of organically grown grapes in iron-rich soils, the 2023 Zinfandel East Bench is one of the producer’s only 100% Zins, and it is special at that, with mind-blowing structure. Medium-bodied and remarkably light on its feet, it has classic brambly berry fruit, dusty tannins, and seasonings of baking spice, a fantastically elegant representation of the appellation when in the right hands. Enjoy now through 2033.”

Domaine Louis Claude Desvignes Morgon La Voute St Vincent, Beaujolais 2023 750ml $21.90 special, 12 bottles in stock now
“The 2023 Morgon La Voûte Saint-Vincent comes from a blend of parcels in the north of the appellation. A little closed on the nose, it offers tightly wound red fruit and remains inhibited. The palate is more expressive with grainy tannins, sapid red fruit and orange rind toward the linear finish. It will require a couple of years in bottle, but it comes across a bit “grumpier” than the other cuvées from this producer. (Drink between 2026-2034).” -Neal Martin, Vinous

Domaine Louis Claude Desvignes Morgon Montpelain, Beaujolais 2023 750ml $28 special, 11 bottles in stock now
Neal Martin-Vinous 91-93 points
“The 2023 Morgon Montpelain matured in 30-hectoliter concrete eggs. This has a sensual nose of macerated red cherries, wild strawberry and light floral scents—very seductive. The palate is well balanced with a crisp line of acidity, taut and saline, showing more complexity on the finish than the Corcelette. Absolutely delicious. (Drink between 2026-2037).”

Felsina Berardenga Chianti Classico DOCG, Tuscany 2022 750ml $31.90 special, 11 bottles in stock now
Antonio Galloni-Vinous 91 points
“The 2022 Chianti Classico Berardenga is superb. Rich and deep yet also quite translucent, the 2022 is an archetype of Castelnuovo Berardenga. Black cherry, leather, spice, tobacco, menthol and dried herbs inform this potent, super-classic Chianti Classico. This is beautifully done, especially for the year.”

Felsina Berardenga Chianti Classico Riserva DOCG, Tuscany 2021 750ml $39 special, 11 bottles in stock now
Wine Spectator 95 points
“The core of cherry, pomegranate and raspberry fruit is detailed with Tuscan scrub, iron, vanilla and tobacco notes as this intense red builds in power to the expansive conclusion, where its fruit, mineral and wild herb flavors converge. Shows fine balance and length; this just needs time to absorb the oak. Best from 2027 through 2043. 5,000 cases made, 2,000 cases imported.”

Bodegas Muga Rosado, Rioja DOCa 2024 750ml $18 special, 12 bottles in stock now
Joaquín Hidalgo-Vinous 91 points
“The 2024 Rosado Muga, from Alto Najerilla, was aged for 16 weeks on lees. Pale pink, with cherry and mild sour cherry aromas accented by rose petals, it’s light and fresh with malic acidity. Expressive and lively, this is a crisp, uncomplicated Rosé.”

Bodegas Muga Reserva “Unfiltered,” Rioja DOCa 2021 750ml $33 special, 11 bottles in stock now
Luis Gutiérrez-Wine Advocate 94 points
“The grapes for the 2021 Reserva (sold as Crianza in Spain), mostly Tempranillo with some Garnacha Tinta, Mazuelo and Graciano, were picked late in a cooler year when they finished the harvest the 20th of October, with plenty of times for the grapes to develop full aromas and flavors and complete ripeness. It fermented destemmed and lightly crushed in oak vats with indigenous yeasts, separating qualities, villages and soils, and matured in 80% French and 20% American oak barrels, 20% of them new, for 24 months, with racking every eight to nine months. It’s a textbook example of their style in a very good year, with power, concentration and clout, elegance and freshness. It was a very harmonious year; the cycle was long and the tannins ripened to perfection. It’s terrific and more so for the volume they produce (984,000 bottles of it). It was fined with egg whites and bottled in January 2024.”

New Arrivals from Domaine Forey

The wines from Domaine Forey exist in a (blessed) middle ground of collectability—quantities are extremely scarce because of the size of the domaine (and demand on the East Coast), but they aren’t quite a “name” in the sense of a Coche or Roumier. The result is that we actually get to offer the wines to you, including their ultra-rare Gaudichots.

New Arrivals from Domaine Dujac

Domaine Dujac is undisputedly one of the top producers in Burgundy, and their collection of vineyards is impressive by any measure. The wines are incredible—built to last and complex as the day is long.

In Stock Now:

Domaine Dujac Aux Combottes, Gevrey-Chambertin Premier Cru 2022 750ml $445 special, 1 bottle in stock now
Jasper Morris-Inside Burgundy 94-97 points
“A dense purple colour. The bouquet is beautiful, very lifted, sensual with violets, as well as savoury strawberries, this is very complete with a depth of properly ripe, yet agreeably strict fruit, the stem element perfectly woven in. A really fine, poised long finish.”
Decanter 96 points “The Gevrey Combottes is once again a standout in the Dujac lineup. A discreet and subtle wine, the fruit ripeness is impressive, but it starts slightly closed and really opens on the palate with aromas of pomegranate, kirsch, and violets. The structure is impressive, with tannin that is at once firm but also very fine-grained and elegant. The density is rewarding, and the finish lingers on the palate. The grapes are from their 1.16-hectare site and are fermented as mostly whole clusters before ageing in cask”

Domaine Dujac Aux Combottes, Gevrey-Chambertin Premier Cru 2023 750ml $499 special, 1 bottle in stock now
Burghound 91-94 points
“Outstanding. From a 1.16 ha parcel. A very ripe liqueur-like nose speaks of cassis, black cherry and a plenitude of floral nuances. The succulent and punchy flavors possess slightly better density before terminating in a powerful and slightly chewy but long finale. Seysses noted that this was one of the last wines to finish its malo so it’s not surprising that it is more primary and backward and my predicted range offers the benefit of the doubt that the finish will better harmonize in time.”

Domaine Dujac Les Beaumonts, Vosne-Romanee Premier Cru 2023 750ml $499 special, 1 bottle in stock now
Neal Martin-Vinous 93-95 points
“The 2023 Vosne-Romanée Les Beaux Monts 1er Cru has a fragrant bouquet that unfolds light touches of finely delineated raspberry, blackcurrant, peony and menthol scents with each swirl. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannins, a mélange of red and black fruit and a liberal sprinkling of black pepper toward the finish from the stems. Very harmonious and quite persistent, this is a very fine Beaux Monts that has a little more elegance than the previous vintage.”

Domaine Dujac Charmes-Chambertin Grand Cru 2023 750ml $649 special, 1 bottle in stock now
Jasper Morris-Inside Burgundy 94-96 points
“The grapes come equally from Charmes and Mazoyères-Chambertin, though the surface area is greater in the latter. A fine deep crimson purple. The nose is full of energy with a classy ripe fruit, dark strawberry and plum, then the oak slightly takes over on the palate. No worry about that, this wine will storm on through. A very good example, ripe yet satisfying.”

Domaine Dujac Clos de la Roche Grand Cru 2023 750ml $859 special, 1 bottle in stock now
Neal Martin-Vinous 96-98 points
“The 2023 Clos de la Roche Grand Cru is much more rich and extravagant on the nose than the Clos Saint-Denis. Red plums, redcurrant and light rose petal scents are joined by potpourri with aeration. The palate is medium-bodied with plush tannins and a fine bead of acidity. This is a lavish and sensual Clos de la Roche with an almost crystalline finish. Outstanding.”

Domaine Dujac Clos Saint-Denis Grand Cru 2023 750ml $885 special, 2 bottles in stock now
Burghound 94-96 points
“From a 1.48 ha holding in 3 different climats. A more elegant, spicier and even more floral-suffused nose is composed by notes of both red and dark cherry and a whiff of exotic tea. The super-sleek, delineated and utterly delicious medium-bodied flavors also possess a highly beguiling texture while displaying stunningly good length on the moderately austere, balanced and equally built-to-age finale. Sheer class.”
