Chateau Angelus, Saint-Emilion Grand Cru 2016 1.5L Displayed Price: $899, that’s $854.05 at 5% off and $809.10 at 10% off, 10 magnums in stock now
Wine Enthusiast 100 points “This is a rich, perfumed wine, with dense tannins and intense layers of black plum and spice. The palate is firmly built yet broadened out by plump dark-fruit tones and honed by a solid, dry core. Drink from 2025. -Roger Voss”

Louis Jadot Chateau des Jacques Moulin-a-Vent Clos de Rochegres, Beaujolais 2022 1.5L Displayed Price: $106, that’s $100.70 at 5% off and $95.40 at 10% off, 3 magnums in stock now
Neal Martin-Vinous 90 points “The 2022 Moulin-à-Vent Clos de Rochegrès has more complexity on the nose compared to the regular cuvée: more floral, iris flower scents filtering through the dark berry fruit, and hints of iodine. The palate is medium-bodied with pliant tannins. It’s fleshy, but right at the finish, it is a tad sweeter than I would like, lacking a bit of sapidity and tension. Near, yet not quite there! That said, it remains a decent Moulin-à-Vent that will benefit from a couple of years in bottle. (Drink between 2025-2033).”

Delas Freres Cote-Rotie La Landonne, Rhone 2019 1.5L Displayed Price: $549, that’s $521.55 at 5% off and $494.10 at 10% off, 2 magnums in stock now
Decanter 97 points “Immediately this has the darkness and aromatic austerity of La Landonne. Very full-bodied, expansive on the palate with mouthcoating flavour and tannin but not heavy. This is seriously tannic, but it’s not tough. Great character, great power and perfect balance. Alcohol is just a little raised, but this is a blockbuster. Around 3,000 bottles made. Fermented in open-top concrete tanks for 20 days, then matured in new and one-year-old barrels for 14 months. Drinking Window 2026 – 2035.”

Emmanuel Darnaud Crozes-Hermitage Au Fil du Temps, Rhone 2018 1.5L Displayed Price: $89, that’s $84.55 at 5% off and $80.10 at 10% off, 4 magnums in stock now
Jeb Dunnuck 94 points “More chocolatey black and blue fruits, violets, damp earth, and bouquet garni-like notes emerge from the 2018 Crozes-Hermitage Au Fil Du Temps. This rich, powerful, full-bodied Crozes shows the classic balance, elegance, and purity that are present in all of Emmanuel’s wines. With plenty of mid-palate depth, ripe, mouth-coating tannins, and outstanding length, this brilliant effort will keep for 10-15 years.”

Gerard Boulay Sancerre Comtesse, Loire 2023 1.5L Displayed Price: $159, that’s $151.05 at 5% off and $143.10 at 10% off, 2 magnums in stock now
Importer Note “The most powerful and complex wine from Boulay’s lineup, with an incredible intensity of fruit and a strong mineral core. Definitely one to put away and follow for years to come.”
Domaine Hubert Lamy Les Frionnes, Saint-Aubin Premier Cru 2017 3L Displayed Price: $599, that’s $569.05 at 5% off and $539.10 at 10% off, 1 double-magnum in stock now
William Kelley-Wine Advocate 93 points “Wafting from the glass with scents of citrus oil, crisp green orchard fruit, white flowers and iodine, Lamy’s 2017 Saint-Aubin 1er Cru Les Frionnes is medium to full-bodied, enveloping and incisive, with a crisp core of fruit, lively acids and a precise, mineral finish. Seamless and complete, this has come together beautifully in bottle.”

Domaine Lafarge Vial Fleurie Clos Vernay, Beaujolais 2020 1.5L Displayed Price: $99, that’s $94.05 at 5% off and $89.10 at 10% off, 2 magnums in stock now
Neal Martin-Vinous 91 points “From granite and quartz soils, the 2020 Fleurie La Clos Vernay has a perfumed rose petal scented bouquet with ample red cherry and crushed strawberry fruit. The palate is medium-bodied with crisp tannins, quite tensile and steely, broody on the finish. Give this 3-4 years in bottle. Drink: 2025-2040.”

Jonathan Didier Pabiot Pouilly-Fume ‘Leon’, Loire 2021 1.5L Displayed Price: $69, that’s $65.55 at 5% off and $62.10 at 10% off, 4 magnums in stock now
“The 2021 Léon accounts for most of the domaine’s production (70%). It has a bright, gooseberry and elderflower-like character. Fermented partially in concrete (40%), stainless steel (40%) and barrel (20%), it has a silky charm while remaining light-bodied. This is a really lively number that has charm and brightness. Very easy to like, made with a delicate hand.” -Rebecca Gibb MW, Vinous
Chateau Pradeaux Bandol Rose, Provence 2024 1.5L Displayed Price: $69, that’s $65.55 at 5% off and $62.10 at 10% off, 3 magnums in stock now
VinePair Review “Château Pradeaux is a historic estate located on the outskirts of the town of Saint Cyr-sur-Mernear on the Mediterranean coast that has been making Bandol wines since the 18th century. This cuvée is a 50-50 blend of Mourvèdre and Cinsault, lending to a well-structured, medium- bodied palate. It has concentrated flavors of blood orange, watermelon, and strawberries, with subtle savory hints. A truly age-worthy expression of rosé.”

Domaine de la Pepiere Muscadet Sevre-et-Maine Clisson Cru, Loire 2022 1.5L Displayed Price: $69, that’s $65.55 at 5% off and $62.10 at 10% off, 2 magnums in stock now
Importer Note “100% Melon de Bourgogne. The Clisson bottling comes from a 50-100-year-old section of vines in Pepière’s core vineyard near the winery in the cru of Clisson. Besides vine age, the distinguishing factor is the granite de Clisson, a very hard, compact form of granite. The very poor top soils are decomposed granite de Clisson with very little clay and a lot of quartz and mica over hard mother rock of granite de Clisson. The farming is certified-biodynamic. The hand-harvested bunches are direct-pressed and the juice settled naturally overnight. It is then fermented spontaneously with natural yeasts and aged on its lees for a minimum of 2 years in underground vats. The wine is bottled without fining or filtering.”

Domaine Sylvain Pataille Marsannay Blanc, Cote de Nuits 2022 1.5L Displayed Price: $125, that’s $118.75 at 5% off and $112.50 at 10% off, 2 magnums in stock now
“The 2022 Marsannay Blanc is a blend of several parcels. It was fairly reduced on the nose when I encountered it. The palate is more promising much more finely balanced with perfectly judged acidity, tangible mineralité, and a delicacy on the finish that I appreciate. Give it 12 months once in bottle.” -Neal Martin, Vinous

Saint Cosme Cotes du Rhone 2024 1.5L Displayed Price: $39, that’s $37.05 at 5% off and $35.10 at 10% off, 25 bottles in stock now
Winemaker Note “Syrah requires a warm climate to fully ripen but enough moderating effect to produce intense, aromatic wines that are not overwhelmed by sweetness and alcohol. This Syrah grows in ideal terroirs of the southern Rhône and shows the varietal’s typical spicy notes of sandalwood, violets, and black pepper.”

Chateau de Saint Cosme Gigondas, Rhone 2021 1.5L Was $99, Displayed Price: $89, that’s $84.55 at 5% off and $80.10 at 10% off, 31 magnums in stock now
Wine Spectator 94 points “Powerful, with steeped plum and cherry coulis merging with potpourri and charred garrigue on a ripe, lush palate. Packs a wall of iron that provides a ballast for the ripe fruit, while refined tannins build in intensity. Long and complex, with a gorgeous expression of place. Grenache, Mourvèdre, Syrah and Cinsault. Drink now through 2040”

Domaine du Vieux Telegraphe Chateauneuf-du-Pape La Crau, Rhone 2018 1.5L Displayed Price: $199, that’s $189.05 at 5% off and $179.10 at 10% off, 8 magnums in stock now
James Suckling 96 points “Traditionally dominated by clairette (45%) and grenache blanc (30%), then roussanne and bourboulenc. The vines average 50+ years and there’s a very restrained nose with dialed-back white-pear and chalk aromas with dried flowers, too. The palate has a super fresh, zippy feel and a long, juicy and attractive core of fresh, salty minerals. The balance is innate and very fluid. Drink or hold.”

Yohan Lardy Moulin-a-Vent Vieilles Vignes de 1903, Beaujolais 2024 1.5L Displayed Price: $76, that’s $72.20 at 5% off and $68.40 at 10% off, 5 magnums in stock now
No review for 2024 vintage. 2023 provided for reference.
Stuart Pigott-James Suckling 98 points “It’s hard to wrap your head around this extraordinary Moulin-a-Vent, but give it time, and it will wrap itself around–and into–your head. The ripe forest-berry aromas have incredible depth, giving way to a mouth-filling, full-bodied palate that’s highly structured. Then comes a gigantic wave of mineral freshness, almost perfectly underlined by fine tannins. Lastly, it glides off into the distance, pulling you with it. From organically cultivated vines planted in 1903. Drink or hold.”
