Laurent Perrier Grand Siecle no. 26 NV 750ml $219 special, 6 bottles available
James Suckling 100 Points “This is really something. Electric on the palate. The aromas are so complex with sliced fresh and dried ginger, subtle pie crust, tarte tatin and hints of nutmeg with some salted caramel. Toasted bread, too. Always subtle. The palate is full- to medium-bodied yet hemmed-in with a freshness and balance that draws you back.

“Aurelian Suenen, Côtes des Blancs”

Hot Champagne Producer Alert! This up-and-comer has long-time enthusiasts flocking to his wines. Elegant and striking, they thread the needle between the brisk minerality inherent in quality Côte des Blancs and the power and richness of (neutral) oak aging.

“One of the most notable rising stars in the Cote des Blancs is Aurelien Suenen, who took charge of his family’s Cramant estate in 2009… Inspired by his friend Pascal Agrapart, he has been committed to studying his terroirs and expressing their individual characters through conscientious work in both the vineyards and the cellar.”… Read the rest

Special Feature: Kelley Fox Wines: October 2023

About Us - Kelley Fox Wines

The most remarkable thing for me about 2021 was the incredible perfume and aromas of every fermenting wine, regardless of whether they were white, red, or pink. Stunning across the board. My winery was not alone in this. It seemed to happen with my colleagues, too. The wines are so delicious […] 2022 is a year that I have been the happiest about my whites to date and I love the balance and beauty of the Pinots.
-Kelley Fox

There’s no greater pleasure for a wine shop than to see beloved winemakers and estates flourish with success and improve their craft vintage after vintage. As each new release of a vintner’s wines hit our shelves, we have the privileged opportunity to be the curators of another memorable wine experience for our customers and the translator of that vintner’s vision.

Brick House ‘Evelyn’s’ Pinot Noir, Willamette Valley 2021 750ml $75 special, 12 bottles available
Jeb Dunnuck 96 Points “I love the aromatics that lift from the 2021 Pinot Noir Evelyn’s, with spice and anise, wild red berries, and dusty earth. It’s very elegant in style and offers a significant departure in its texture, with a soft, stony mouthfeel, medium to full body, a linear feel, and a more citrus-driven finish, with notes of orange oil lasting long after the wine is gone.

Vouette Et Sorbee Fidele Extra Brut (2020) NV 750ml $79 special, 16 bottles available
No reviews for the 2020 base. 2018 base review provided for reference.
Wine Advocate 94 Points “The NV Brut Nature Fidèle (R14) is a Blanc de Noirs from Pinot Noir on Kimmeridgian soils and is entirely based on the 2014 vintage. Disgorged in October 2017 the oak-fermented wine shows a golden-reddish apricot color and opens with a very delicate, floral and herbal yet intense and vinous bouquet of red fruits, with warm, dry earth and spices and just a hint of oak.
