From a collaboration between Armstrong vineyard owner Doug Ackerman and winemaker John Grochau (of Grochau Cellars) all of Red Electric’s grapes come from Dourg’s vineyard in Ribbon Ridge. These are wines of great balance, poise, and complexity, perfect for food pairing. Perfect for the Holiday dinner table.
 
The Winery itself is named after the “Red Electric” commuter trains that revolutionized life in the Willamette Valley, carrying passengers from Portland to the Valley in the early 20th century.

Introducing “4 Monos Viticultores”

Have you ever gone on vacation to a wonderful, beautiful place and then spent a good chunk of your precious time there thinking up ways to stay there permanently? Well, the friends behind the fabulous Spanish winery “4 Monos Viticultores” (pictured above) managed to do just that on a hiking trip through The Sierra de Gredos mountain range west of Madrid.
 
Equal parts Mediterranean and Alpine, the Sierra de Gredos spans three viticultural regions (Méntrida, Vinos de Madrid, and Castilla y León) but represents a terroir all their own.
