Maxiumum Max Ferd Richter Sale 10-6-24

Before getting  into the details below…let me just tell you that I think Max Ferd Richter’s wines are some of the most criminally underpriced wines from the entire Mosel. There are numerous producers in the peer group of this estate that achieve less excellence and charge much more for their wines. It is hard to fathom how world class wine from vineyards as mind-bogglingly steep as those that Max Ferd Richter farms could be so affordable. We’ve put these wines at discount already and we’ve made a lot of customers happy. But if you’re like me, the 3-4 bottles I have of this stuff in my cellar seem incredibly lonely…and I’d like to grab a case more that I can drink for the next few decades.

With a tremendous amount of variance in terms of flavor expression, the best Chablis are characterized by their high acids, pervasive minerality, and a fruit profile that tends to skew towards citrus and orchard fruit.
