St. Innocent Freedom Hill Vineyard Pinot Noir, Willamette Valley 2014 750ML ($37.95) $29 special
Grapelive 94 points “Mark Vlossak’s brilliant 2014 Freedom Hill Pinot is bursting with minty rose oil, Bing cherry and mineral tones. The 100 Point 2015 Hermitatge La Chapelle

The hill of Hermitage was the home of a knight seeking solace from the horrors of the Crusades upon his return home.  He built a chapel to pray in and that building, the Chapel of Saint Christopher, is the defining marker of the hillside.  Jaboulet’s “La Chapelle” is likewise the defining wine of Hermitage for many.
